Popular " Windows '99". The broad sellotape crossing windowpanes in all directions imaginable have come to be a symbolic "civic weapon" to counter the deadly NATO grenades. Those citizens unwilling to pass nights underground during alerts were further still endangered by bits of smashed windows falling onto the streets on NATO projectiles detonating.

First bath of newborn Anja, with out electricity and water. Having dropped the 'graphite bombs on the Serbian Electric Industry and Thermoelectric Power Industry plants, the NATO craft severally caused complete breakdowns of the country's power grids. Despite sore water shortages, scarce supplies of it were still provided for hospitals hosting many of the newborn infants whose first couple of days went on in a total darkness, to the sound of the alert sirens' howling.
Today, Anja is beautiful grown up woman.

Military experts began a month hlong operation to defuse an unexploded NATO bomb GBU 31 (1000 kg). It is estimated that several thousands other unexploded NATO bombs are still at the territory of Serbia, and they present a big danger to civil population.
