In few of this cases, remains of bodies have been returned to their families, but most of this cases have been unsolved. "The Association of Families of Missing and Kidnapped Serbs in Kosovo" starts its over 10 years of struggle with UN institutions, demanding the solving of all cases of missing Serbs in Kosovo.

Setting their own homes ablaze, Serbs exit Kosovo, summer 1999. On Serbian Army's retreat from Kosovo, a large-scale migration started off of Serbs, burning their homes in the face of ethnic Albanians. About 200,000 Serbs are estimated to have fled the province as refugees of war, ever since the NATO-led KFOR troops first arrived there.

Serbian Orthodox church "Christ the Savior" in the down town of Pristina, surrounded with razor-wire. This church was several times under grenade attacks by Albanian extremists. Since the Serbian army and police withdrew from Kosovo, and after UN peacekeeping troops arrived at the province in 1999, more than 150 Serbian churches and monasteries were completely destroyed, robbed and burned to the ground by Albanian extremists.
